Growing up in Charlotte, NC, I’ve seen firsthand how quickly things can change. My commitment to keeping up with design trends has driven me to embrace new technologies, even when they seem intimidating, like AI. My passion for innovation comes from a strong desire to overcome challenges and constantly learn. When faced with obstacles, I find solutions. For example, when I encountered resistance while directing web designers, I taught myself WordPress to ensure that my requests were achievable. I believe in leading by example, making sure I understand everything I ask others to do.

A LESSON IN INNOVATION
One important lesson I’ve learned is that technology is always evolving. Staying up to date is essential. My dedication to innovation was shaped by an experience with my uncle, who owned a billboard company. He and his team hand-painted each billboard, but when digital technology emerged, he didn’t adapt quickly enough and lost his business. Despite being an incredible artist—he even painted for royalty—he found it difficult to accept that people might prefer printed designs over traditional hand-painted art. This taught me the importance of embracing change and staying engaged with new developments.
