Design Simplified [BLOG]

For over 25 years, I’ve kept this picture frame on my desk. It’s the first image that truly captured the essence of the creative process for me—completely spontaneous. Every project and idea follows an internal journey of research, daydreaming, sketching by hand or on the computer, and development. When you get stuck, you walk away, return, and continue refining. Then, seemingly by accident, you make a small change, and everything starts to click.

There’s no rhyme or reason—it just happens. Reflecting on a project, you might think it came together quickly. But in reality, it’s been percolating in the back of your mind. The research, the daydreaming, the sketching—all of it subconsciously converges without any clear explanation.
